So these days we have been hearing a lot about face serums. Most of them claim to do a lot and are equally expensive that everyone cannot afford. However in search of a good serum for my acne prone blemished skin I found VLCC SNIGDHA SKIN WHITENING SERUM with COMFREY. After using it for few days I have to say that for the results it gives and the price for which it is offered I quite liked it. Lets explore it more.
INR 405 for 40 ML but available at discounted price on various online portals.
A serum developed with years of research which targets problem areas of dark spots, lightens pigmentation and acne marks on the skin. Effectively inhibits melanin formation, provides exceptional brightening benefits. It can be used on all skin types. Removes dark spots, pigmentation and acne marks.
HOW TO USE
Use on cleansed face . Take required amount and massage onto the face until absorbed.
Trehalose , Grapefruit extract , Symphytum Officinale extract ( comfrey) , Niacinamide
It comes in a pastel pink and white cardboard packaging which looks absolutely cute. Every information is clearly mentioned except for complete ingredient list. The bottle comes with a pump dispenser which makes it very easy to use and hygienic as well. It is secured with a silver cap which makes it look classy. All informatin is mentioned on bottle as well. overall the packaging is beautiful sturdy and travel friendly.
WHAT IS COMFREY
The main ingredient of this serum is COMFREY. Comfrey has an especially potent skin-healing agent, it is allantoin, which can be found widely in cosmetic preparations, especially those for sensitive skin. It aids wound repair, accelerates skin healing, and possesses anti-inflammatory activity.
Lets talk about its texture and consistency first. It has a very smooth texture and quite runny consistency. It is milky white in color with a light fragrance. A small quantity/one pump is all you need for your entire face. So this 40 ml bottle lasts quite long. It absorbs really quickly. And leaves skin soft, smooth, non sticky and non greasy. I should say that for my oily and sensitive skin it works absolutely perfect. A serum should be used after cleansing and toning. So I do the same. I completely ignore the whitening serum tagline as neither I believe in it nor I want it. Overall if you are looking for a budget serum which is effective also you need to check it out. I am using a night cream from the same range and my old acne marks have faded to some extent.
