DIY CHARCOAL BLACKHEADS REMOVAL MASK

Blackheads - Most of us young or old suffer from these. Especially on the nose area. Some may have less, some may have plenty but almost all us deal with them. Generally people with oily or combination skin have more black heads. Nobody likes them and we all went to get rid of them. Honestly I get black heads on my nose and in very large number. I have tried everything. I bought nose strips but they did not give 100% results. I have even used blackhead removal pins. But you all will agree that process is so painful and leaves nose red and swelled. I will never recommend squeezing them at all.

WHAT EXACTLY ARE BLACKHEADS?

When your skin produces excess sebum, it gets accumulated in pores or hair follicle and its top gets darkened due to oxidation it is called BLACKHEAD.

DIY MASK

So after trying zillion things and coming back to zero every time I tried this DIY charcoal mask. Trust me since that day I clean my face with this mask without making my eyes teary eyed. Before I share the recipe I would also like to tell that it also removes the fine peachy hair from the face.

All you need is-

  1. 1 activated charcoal capsule or 1 tsp activated charcoal powder
  2. 2 teaspoon gelatin
  3. 1 ply facial tissue

Charcoal removes the dirt and excess oil from face. Gelatin act as a binder. Take charcoal powder and gelatin in a bowl and add hot water to it, mix them well. Alternatively you can add normal water, mix them and put the bowl in microwave to melt the gelatin. The paste should not be runny. it should have medium consistency.

HOW TO APPLY

  1. Cleanse your face and pat it dry.
  2. Apply a layer on face leaving brows completely.
  3. Take 1 ply tissue and put it all over face leaving eye contour area.
  4. Put one more layer of mask over it.
  5. Let the mask dry completely. It will become rock hard.
  6. Gently peel the mask from from edges towards center and hold the skin with fingers.
  7. Wash the face with water.

RESULTS

You can see all blackheads from nose, chin and cheeks sticking on the peeled off mask. Removing it will be a little painful as it removes the fine facial hair also. But your face will be absolutely clean and smooth.

Always do a patch test first before applying on face.

See you next time
